It’s time for a little culture—made all the better because you get to enjoy it without the stuffy clothes!
Don’t miss The Bard’s “Pericles” during Shakespeare in the Park (and on the Bluff) on the Westside this summer, with shows split between Playa Vista and Loyola Marymount.
You have three chances to see these FREE performances of “Pericles,” which the New Yorker called, “perhaps the strangest play in Shakespeare’s canon. In some ways, it’s a dream play, a bridge between the tragedies—‘Othello,’ ‘Macbeth,’ and ‘King Lear’—and the late romances—‘The Winter’s Tale,’ ‘Cymbeline,’ and ‘The Tempest.’”
The play will be presented on:
Friday, July 26, 8pm, at Loyola Marymount’s Lawton Plaza
Saturday, July 27, 8pm, at Loyola Marymount’s Lawton Plaza
Sunday, July 28, 7pm, at Playa Vista Central Park Bandshell
