Low Energy = Lower Costs

Homebuyers are more concerned than ever about rising energy costs and RiverPark has addressed those concerns with energy-efficient features that will save you money.

Our Milgard Low-E dual-glazed windows are a great place to start, because glass is one of the most important components in keeping your home cool in summer and warm in winter.

“Dual glazing” refers to the use of two thicknesses of glass separated by an air space to improve insulation against heat transfer. “Emissivity” measures a surface’s ability to absorb or reflect radiant energy, and “Low-E” (low-emissivity) refers to a clear coating applied to one side of the glass in dual-pane windows. Milgard’s microscopically thin coating reduces heat loss on cold days and filters the sun’s energy on hot days — also rejecting damaging rays that fade your fabrics and furnishings.

Our low-flow plumbing fixtures are WaterSense® certified, and go a long way towards reducing water usage without compromising performance. The Delta faucets include DIAMOND Seal® Technology that ensures leak-free operation, and the wide valve and extra-large siphon jet in Toto’s powerful, quiet and efficient E-Max system will save money every time you flush.

Compared to incandescent, our LED lighting costs less to operate and the bulbs last significantly longer — up to 25,000 hours compared to 1,000 for traditional bulbs — so you won’t need to replace them as often.

Here are some additional RiverPark features that will contribute to conservation and improve your quality of life:
