Riverpark Breaks New Ground!

Following their successful 2016 sell-out of 41 residences at this spectacular Cypress Park community, LA Urban Homes started construction in July on RiverPark’s final 54 homes — and the first 25 are already 40% sold!

The initial releases are all single-family detached, featuring exteriors with large windows, brick accents and some private fenced yards. The contemporary 3–4 bedroom/3-bath designs offer up to 2,000 square feet, with dramatic open-concept floor plans, spacious master suites and en suite baths, state-of-the-art kitchens, energy-saving features, and high-caliber finishes throughout. Current owners rave about how spacious, airy and livable the homes feel.

This limited offering is situated along the scenic Los Angeles River in Taylor Yard Village — an innovative, transit-oriented master plan, developed through a public-private joint development with the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority. Shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities are abundant — including the nearby Atwater Village — and the centrally located community is a short commute away from downtown L.A., Glendale, and Eagle Rock, with easy access to the 2, 5 and 110 freeways. The nearby Lincoln/Cypress Metrolink Gold Line station provides important rail connections to the expanding 87-mile Metro Rail network throughout Los Angeles County, with bus connections to Metro Local (#28, 81, 90, 91, 94, and 251), plus Metro Rapid (751 and 794).

RiverPark is also directly adjacent to the 40-acre Rio de Los Angeles State Park, which boasts fabulous riverfront and wilderness hiking and walking trails; baseball and soccer fields; tennis courts; picnic areas; a children’s playground with splash pad; and a recreation center that hosts many activities and classes. A nearby bike path offers a scenic 7.4-mile ride along the riverbank.

Exciting plans for the restoration and revitalization of the Los Angeles River is a major priority for the city, and the Army Corps of Engineers has committed one billion dollars to the project. Initial focus will be on the 11 miles of prime riverfront between downtown and Griffith Park — which includes RiverPark — and will eventually encompass over 31 miles of the Los Angeles River.

Preview pricing, which is currently from the high $600,000s, is expected to rise. “The interest in this unique community has been incredible,” states Marisol Almonte, RiverPark’s Sales Manager. “The architectural excellence of the homes, their value and the opportunity to be at the forefront of the L.A. River beautification project, make this a real ground-floor opportunity for savvy home seekers.”

The RiverPark model home is open daily from 10 am to 5 pm and best reached from the corner of San Fernando Road and Arvia Street. Prospective buyers are encouraged to join the interest list, which is expanding daily, for early selection of prime lots, plus construction and sales updates.
